Creative and Constructive Ways to Deal with Autoreponders

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008
Larry Schierling asked:

An enthusiastic guest who has been journeying through your site has finally come to just what she is looking for and is about to make a make a buy. It’s a radiant afternoon, and her persian cat, which happens to be sitting on the club moss under the newcomer’s large fifty-year-old snow-rose bonsai tree, speedily jumps down, and the priceless tree, topples over.

In the glimpse of an eye, your guest exits your site, and your purchase is dust - unless you have had the insight to use an autoresponder that has captured her email address. If you have installed an autoresponder, you can then follow-up with her, and in all probability, make the purchase when the poor lady has finished repotting her beloved bonsai.

Autoresponders are exceptional, versatile programs that do so much more than just automatically answer your email.

Here are a few ideas that will assist you to creatively and productively run your autoresponder to transform the offhanded newcomer into a rewarding customer. Put to use your autoresponder to:

1. Announce a newsletter. Certain helpfulness autoresponders will fulfill subscriptions and follow-up with enthusiastic prospects. Your newsletter can keep your newcomers advised about your services or products, while growing your reputation as a trustworthy professional in your particular line of work.

2. Publicize a newsletter only for your affiliates. Familiarize them of latest sales you are running and of promotional documentation that your affiliates can deal with themselves to build up their commissions. Include tips, advice, and techniques that your affiliates can exploit to successfully go out and publicize your line of work.

3. Write reviews. Cover books, software, music, e-books, movies, etc., and put each review in an autoresponder. Review your affiliate programs, using a link to your affiliate’s page in your autoresponder.

4. Pass out your articles. Writing and distributing targeted articles is a powerful tool to build your specialization credibility, bring traffic to your site, and develop your sales potential. If your articles contain valuable information, many editors will print what is known as a resource box for you. A resource box contains your bio and a brief description of your service or product. It can also contain your autoresponder address. Let’s say you’ve written fifty articles. Put them on separate autoresponder accounts and create a master list that contains the titles of each article, the autoresponder address, and a brief abstract. Then advertise your master list. Additionally, include your Announceing guidelines so your affiliates can add their articles to your list, increasing the number of writers who are represented in your article list.

5. Create mailing lists. Familiarize subscribers to your articles when you’ve written new ones that they may want to distribute in their own newsletter or website.

6. Automate your sales process. Deal with an ad to insure repeated exposure of your message, which has been proven to effectively expand sales. In your ad, put your autoresponder address where a guest will be exposed to numerous marketing documentations. This multiplies the chances of converting guests into customers. For example, if you’re marketing a particular product, put testimonials about how spectacular it is on your autoresponder, and add a detailed, enticing description of your product.

7. Give out advertising. Let’s say you sell advertising on your website or in your newsletter or e-zine. Set your autoresponder to send the Education about rates and how to place an ad automatically to all prospects’ email addresses. Then have your autoresponder follow-up. It can also send notification of any special deals you are currently offering.

8. Distribute an email course. Each day, have your autoresponder send out another lesson. Just be sure that each lesson has upper class content - not a sales pitch. Your content will do the selling for you, and will do it much more compellingly. You can include tips centered on a different topic for each lesson, illustrating how your product will benefit the reader. Include the tangible benefits the guest will reap by purchasing your product. Make sure to include a paragraph or two at the end of each lesson enticing your prospect to mull over making a complete a purchase.

9. Automate a reminder about your service or product after a newcomer has completed your course. This will expand the possibility of sales from newcomers who have taken your course but are dragging their feet about for a certainty making a make a buy. You can also run these reminders to call attention to new products or services, and the products and services of your affiliate programs.

10. Broadcast free reports. This gives your newcomer an idea of the type of Enlightenment you can provide and the superiority of your product or service. Make sure these reports are not sales letters or you will more than likely lose a potential customer than gain a sale.

11. Create trivia quizzes on your site and place the answers in an autoresponder. Your newcomer will then be motivated to call for your autoresponder, and you will have a record of the guests’ email addresses who took your quiz. Or create a contest and have any guests that enter send their responses to your autoresponder. Your autoresponder can be set-up to send them a acceptance of their entry.

12. Offer a trial version of your product. Give your prospects a sample of your ebook, course, software, membership, etc. Folks who are exposed to a little taste often end up wanting the whole pie. You can also take into custody their email addresses when you offer them a free trial from your website. Set up your autoresponder to give instructions on how to gain their free trial, and then make sure to follow-up to try and close the sale.

13. Link to hidden pages on your autoresponder. For example, a hidden page could be your affiliate page that contains graphics, promotional articles, and text links that interested affiliates can make use of. Familiarize guests that they may have free access to your affiliate page by simply desiring your autoresponder. You will then gather a list of visitors who may be enthusiastic in becoming your affiliates.

14. Apply an autoresponder on your order page. Post a call for form for guests to be notified of special offers or discounts in the future. This creates a very compelling mailing list that contains the names of Folks who are already your customers.

15. Put your links page on your autoresponder. It should contain up to fifty links that would be of particular interest to your newcomers. Make sure to add your own promotional copy at the top or bottom of this page.

Now that you have proof that autoresponders can be used creatively, see if you can come up with some adept ideas of your own!

Choosing a Career

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008
Niquenya Fulbright, PLC asked:

Facing the tough challenge of choosing a career can be overwhelming. With changing technology and growing international markets, there are a lot of options to choose from. The possibilities are truly endless so where does one start?

Your chosen career should be a harmonious blend of your skills, education, personality and interests. A self-assessment is a great way to identify a starting place for your search. Take time to jot down your likes and dislikes on a sheet of paper. Brainstorm several jobs that would utilize at least two of your likes yet avoid your dislikes. Use the list you have come up with to research and evaluate these options. You can gather job descriptions, examine the education and experience requirements, check out the career’s longevity outlook, interview others already in the position and visit the library for additional resources. Following this process will put you in a much better position for choosing which direction you would like to pursue in your career.

You could also take a formal skills assessment test. Several good ones, most of which are free, include those provided by careerlab.com, keirsey.com, the Princeton Review Career Quiz and CareerFitter.com. You should take a mix of tests as no one is infallible but all may present opportunities you had not previously considered. Taking advantage of a career coach or counselor is a great idea if you can afford it. These professionals can help you examine key areas in which you excel and point you in the right direction. Many often have their own skills evaluations as well. If a coach or counseling structure is not an option, you can get free advice from parents, friends or colleagues. Be careful when listening to the often biased opinions of parents; however, as their agenda tends to be geared towards the monetary aspect rather than what would be a good fit for you. Choosing a satisfying career should not rely on how high a position pays but rather how close it embodies your own goals and interests.

If you are young, I suggest temping. Join one or two temporary staffing agencies that specialize in your primary fields of interests. This would allow you to try out several different positions without committing yourself to a particular company. As an added bonus, you can use the temp agency experience to pad your resume. Then, if you do decide to pursue a career along the same lines of the temporary positions you have held, you may have gained some very important industry reference contacts. Don’t worry if you are already in a permanent position. You really don’t have to be stuck in one job forever. Take smart risks and explore what’s out there. Careers can become dated just as hairstyles. What fits today may not fit tomorrow and because all temp jobs can be listed under its relative agency, your resume will not reflect you as a “job bouncer.”

Choosing a career can be a grueling task. Try to only look at options that keep your interests at the forefront. Remember, going into a job simply because it pays well will not keep you happy. You want to find a career that offers the most growth potential, is attuned to your passions and properly rewards your performance.

Are You Planning to Solve Your Relationship Issues so That You Can Make Up With Your Ex Love Partner?

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008
dhlim88 asked:

Are you planning to solve your relationship issues so that you can make up with your Ex love partner?

I understand that you are very frustrated and eager to have your ex love partner with your side as much as possible. You have to remember that once you have started showing any sign of desperation and desire for your wants, you will never ever achieve what you want. This same goes to any other stuff, personal, work, studies, result, etc. I appreciate that you can follow my advice very thoroughly and carefully. This is because if you follow reading through the piece of article, I can guarantee that you will able to solve your relationship issues with a spark of excellence. Anyway, it is up to you whether you like to use my methods, but you can always use them as part of your references.

If you have accidentally forgotten some main key points after glancing through this piece of article, do feel free to visit it again. It can help to refresh your memory and light up your imagination and continue pursue your dreams to get your ex love partner back in your relationship. Whatever relationship issues you are struggling with, there is a way to resolve them. You just need to work out what the best type of help for you is and go get it. Well, here are your main options … I will explain all the six categories in short forms. They are mainly to solve it yourself, Get help from friends, family and forums (FFF’s), Get professional help, but which is most appropriate for you? Well, the type of relationship issues you are facing will determine what help is most suitable for you. Let’s look at each of your options in turn.

Solve your relationship issues yourself. Sometimes it’s just a case of getting the right bit of self help advice and applying it to recover a relationship. You can find a whole host of common answers to relationship issues on this site that may help you tackle the problems you’re facing. I’ll give you direct advice, recommend books, quiz you and tell you the truth. However, you may realise that the issues you’re facing aren’t going to be solved by self help. This is often the case if you’ve attempted it before and failed, if you feel like you’re running out of ways to deal with the issue or if you suspect the reasons for the issue may well run a lot deeper than they first appeared, either on your side or on your partner’s side.

So what then? Get help from friends, family and forums? (FFF’s)

You know what? No - is the answer! (I’ve nothing personal against your FFF’s by the way ;-)

It may seem harsh or biased to rule it out straight away, but there are a number of reasons for doing this. I won’t go into them in too much depth, but here are a few… Each of your friends will have their own different point of view - how will you know who’s right? It’s very difficult for them to be impartial - because they’re so close to you they’re much less likely to investigate ‘the other side’ of the relationship. If they reinforce your point of view and if you’re wrong it’s only going to damage your relationship further.

The number of points of view you’ll get can leave you even more confused - if you get 3, 4 or more conflicting views, which do you, believe?

The truth is very difficult to tell you. Your friends are more likely to avoid telling you the truth than hurt you and potentially jeopardise your relationship.

I could go on - but I think you get the picture. If you’re thinking, “Well, he’s a professional relationship counsellor. He would say that, wouldn’t he?” The answer is, no.

If it really was a beneficial way of solving relationship issues, I would tell you. After all, I believe self help is valuable up to a point. And there are always more people in a month looking for my professional advice than I can deal with, so I have nothing to gain by trying to persuade you that professional help is the best way forward.

If you’re looking for comfort, empathy and reassurance friends, family and even forums can provide that for you. If you want all of those things and the truth, clarity and your relationship issues resolved, then consider the option of professional relationship advice instead. If you know for sure you can’t afford professional relationship help, and then go back to option 1 to find the answers and use your friends and family to comfort you in the hard times.

But whatever you do, if you do seek their advice or they provide it, take it with a pinch of salt. It’s very difficult for them to be objective, to be an expert and to tell you the truth, so don’t expect all they say to be good advice just because they’re your friends. Sometimes it’s genuinely very difficult to separate the two (good advice and good friends) in your head. Professional relationship advice -

If you are beating yourself about the head trying to resolve your relationship issues and the self help and the FFF’s aren’t helping, then start looking into relationship coaching. You can book a free consultation, a 1-off coaching session or start coaching weekly with one of our relationship coaches.

Obviously you can seek help from any professional. However, here I am biased! I recommend myself ;-)

But obviously, you need to make up your own mind about who is the most suitable relationship coach for you. Whatever your relationship issues, there is a way to deal with them. Just make sure you choose the right way for you. Is it Couple in Crisis? - Save your relationship! If you’re looking for relationship help that will actually help save your relationship, then you’re in the right place.

With a little practice, perseverance and patience, I believe that your relationship could be enhanced with the tips that I have shared if you have faced any problems with your loved one. I have a strong belief that if you understand what I have explained and shared in this piece of article, then the problems could be minimised and your relationship could become more stable and stronger. I wish all the best in your relationship with your partner. Do not forget to support the decision of having making up than breaking up. Your happiness always lies in your hands for the relationship. Indeed, life is short. Don’t let another day go by without taking a chance on happiness. You will never know until you try, so remember to make a move today. It can change or affect the rest of your life, therefore, at the very least, you can try to come out something for your ex love partner during your weekend plans. How to Create Quality Content to Attract Targeted Traffic to Your Website

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008
Bob Withers asked:

Content is generally designed to produce traffic, to bring people to your website to buy your products or services. Content should be created with the intended audience in mind.

It is the expression and communication of information and is the real thing, which visitors will spot immediately when they first visit your website. Content is only as strong as it’s appeal to your visitors and is usually given away in order to attract people to goods and services they are willing to pay for.

This leads us to the question: What are the best types of content to attract people to your products and services?

Articles have long been regarded as one of the best internet marketing strategies in use today. People like to read well written articles about a subject they are naturally interested in.

Your articles should be tailored to attract your target audience and also formed around the product or service you are promoting. Your article also needs to be keyword rich so as to attract the various search engines and gain a ranking near the top of their list.

Downloads or free downloads are also an attraction to surfers online. Anything that can make someone’s life a little easier, for example a free website building tool or HTML editor, is very popular. People like tools and tools which can save them time are a bonus.

People also like to be entertained and this is where multimedia can play a large role in attracting potential customers to your site. An audio message welcoming your guests sprinkled with a little humor can add to your quality content.

Movie trailers, comedy clips and music are also nice additions to any website. Again you select your content with your target audience in mind.

Interactive multimedia is also a big attraction online. For example, you could have a daily quiz or a weekly survey where you incorporate some type of prize for the person with the highest score. Again you could construct the questions around what you’re promoting or the type of visitor you want to attract.

Sports are always a big draw, especially if you’re going after a male oriented audience for your product or service. You could incorporate a sports update feed from one of the free content providers which displays up to the minute scores and highlights of different events in the sporting world.

Along the same lines of video you could create your own recording which incorporates the product or service you are selling in a way which stands out or is out of the norm.

Instructional videos are also popular. Teach your users how to do something. If you’re targeting Internet Marketers for example, an article or instructional video on how to generate traffic to your website or how to write killer classified ads would be a good draw.

When it comes to quality content the ideas are endless and are only limited by your imagination. But always remember to keep your target audience in mind and you’ll get the targeted traffic you need to succeed online.

The Amazing World of Online Trivia and Trivia Games

Sunday, September 7th, 2008
William Lund asked:

Long before the internet existed, the first book about trivia, titled appropriately “Trivia” was published in 1966. The incredible success of trivia books and quiz shows led up to the marketing of Trivial Pursuit, in the early 1980’s.

In the early 50’s television was beginning to pop up in homes all across America. Shows like the $64,000 Question, Twenty-One and Beat the Clock began to entertain the American household. Americans tuned in to quiz shows, drawn in by the large cash prizes. Between 1956 and 1958, it began to emerge that many of these popular quiz shows had been rigged. Quiz and game shows disappeared for awhile.

In 1964 the introduction of Jeopardy helped to bring back game shows, and restore the American people’s trust. Rigid new rules for contestants and limits on prize money guaranteed that the winners would win fairly.

The most popular board game ever created and the most popular television game show ever created were both based on trivia — and it’s no surprise why! Trivia entertains, challenges, and enlightens, all at the same time.

Then along came the internet. One trivia site I recently visited claims to have been operational since 1994! Trivia is simply booming on the internet. While online you can play all kinds of games, take part in countless quizzes, or laugh out loud with jokes. Some sites have software you can use to create custom trivia tournaments for special events, or your friends, family, or even for your website.

Some of the more popular trivia game sites are set up so you can earn things like points and badges for winning a certain number of games etc. Usually the points are for “fun” and comparison purposes only. Usually they cannot be turned in for prizes or for money. Some badges, require a lot of effort and dedication to earn, and others are a little easier.

Trivia games are not the only kind of games to be found, others include flash games, board games, adventure games, action games, and much more. There are games that take week-long battles to win, and timed games lasting only minutes. One trivia site claims it has over 1,000,000 trivia questions in 10,000 categories, created by over 30,000 different visitors to this site, from over 100 countries around the world. Over 1.4 million registered members and 6,000,000 guests have played a quiz.

Membership to most of the trivia game playing sites is free, and as a member you may play and create games, participate in forums, download software and utilize other services. However, most sites have a paid membership as well, and with the paid membership you don’t have to put up with the advertisements and stuff that the free members must endure, and your interactive game play will be faster. Usually there are other perks as well. There are even trivia websites where you can play for real money.

Some quizzes are multiple-choice format, some true/false, and others will are fill in the blank. The game sites record your scores and let you know how you are doing in relation to players who signed up at approximately the same time as you. Creating trivia games is pretty easy with the software on the game sites. Usually there are editors who will check over your games and quizzes and after a few days it appears online for people all over the world to play. It’s pretty cool.

Online you can create and play quizzes, do crossword puzzles, play picture puzzles, go on treasure hunts, and do brain teasers. There are games for children, forums, chat rooms, and tournaments. You will find action games, adventure games, mazes, number games and more. There are even multi-player interactive games you can participate in. You should have no problem finding all of this entertainment, just search for trivia at your favorite search engine and go explore the amazing world of online trivia for yourself.

Starting a Business: Step by Step

Saturday, September 6th, 2008
David Steven Roberts asked:

Introduction

It is every American’s dream. To own and operate their own business, to be their own boss, to be in charge of their life! Every new business is started by someone who gets an ‘entrepreneurial seizure’. That is, they believe they have an idea for a service or product that is better than, faster than and of better quality than what some others can do. In a fury, they quit a job and start their own business haphazardly and end up getting in a jam because they didn’t follow the natural order of beginning their own business. This article will explore what those steps are, and how, if they are done correctly will greatly benefit the one taking them.

•I. Check your State’s Business Website for possible conflicts in naming your business.

When you choose a name for your business it should be unique, and yet say something about what you do. Some have chosen the route of using humor to get their point across. “The System’s Down” for a computer repair business, “He’s Not Here” for a bar infamous for refusing to tell wives where their husbands’ are. What you don’t want to do is give your business the same or almost the same name as another company. Check the local sites and make sure you can legally use the name you choose.

•II. Get your EIN number.

It’s as easy as logging on to the IRS.gov website and filling out the online form to receive your EIN instantly, don’t check the box to wait for it to come in the mail, you want to get started ASAP, so make sure you get the number and print the page it appears on. You will need that number before you finish any of the next steps.

•III. Incorporate your business. (What forms you will need.)

In order to incorporate correctly, a lot of people have used online help. It’s not cheap, but it is far cheaper than the possibility of making a mistake and having to dissolve a new corporation and begin again. Unless you have done this before, you can leave it to the experts and skip a few of the next steps entirely. The next question is what kind of incorporation do you need? You have two choices for an incorporated business. There is the S-Corp, by far, the most popular option because of the taxation advantages. And then there is the C-Corp, which does have its own advantages which the double taxation drawback can sometimes more than makes up for. The other option is not incorporating at all and sticking with either a sole proprietorship or partnership. Both are easier to deal with at year end and cheaper to get taxes prepared but can leave the business owner open to getting personal property taken if there were a bankruptcy or lawsuit. In my humble opinion, the form of business with the most headaches is a partnership and the best form is the S-Corp. But that’s just my opinion.

•IV. Create your Article’s of Incorporation.

The cheap way to do this is to cut and paste another corporations’ Article’s of Incorporation and replace their name with yours. You can do this legally, but as I am not a lawyer, I would take the safe road mentioned previously and get an expert to do it for me.

•V. Create your company’s Charter.

Let’s face it; before I started my own business, I wasn’t sure what someone would be looking for in a Charter. It basically spells out the days for board meetings and who will succeed who should there ever be a vacancy. Again, I would prefer to put something like this in the hands of someone who does it regularly as they will know who to ask what and put it together for you professionally. A lot of online services have popped up; make sure you deal with a reliable one if you go that route.

•VI. Open your business bank account.

This is the step that most people START with. Then they learn that the business name they chose is taken, or that now they are incorporated, they need a different kind of bank account. The most important thing to remember with the business bank account is that it is supposed to forever be separate from your personal accounts. This is to protect the corporate veil, i.e. that layer of protection afforded to you in a potential lawsuit.

•VII. Register with the state to pay for unemployment taxes, sales taxes, etc.

Each state will have its own site to pay taxes online, in Florida; before you register you are given a brief quiz about the kind of collecting you will do in your business. Are there vending machines involved or fuel subsidies? Etc. Most businesses will only have to worry about the SUTA or State Unemployment Tax. Paying online is important as the states are usually stricter than the federal in collections. Fines and penalties are what build a lot of bridges in this state.

•VIII. Register with EFTPS to pay payroll taxes online.

Every pay day you have, you must set aside half of your employees’ payroll taxes out of your account and half deducted from your employee’s pay, along with the Federal Withholding. Using the online payment option at the EFTPS site means you won’t have to be sending checks that could get lost or late. Register now even if you don’t have employees yet and get your internet passwords written down.

•IX. Build your company’s website.

These days a company without a website is not a company. Simply put, if you cannot point potential customers to a site featuring your work and some information about your business, those potential customers will go elsewhere. The internet today is what the Yellow Pages were 20 years ago. Often, if you get email, your internet provider will give you internet space for free. For example, EarthLink will give you a certain amount of space for free, and using the Trellis builder allows you to build, change, and update your site easily. Go to a hosting site, such as Go Daddy and pay for a redirect to your email free site. (Don’t pay for the hosting, just the redirect!)

•X. READ articles on promoting your site through QuickBooks, Google, and Yahoo search engines.

I don’t know about you but my Yellow pages books are under my old couch, holding it up where the legs are uneven. When people are looking for services today, they use Google, Yahoo, or Craigslist. A lot of advertising can be done through your QuickBooks software by clicking on the Google Marketing Tools icon. Read all you can about successful people using these sites. It is not necessary to pay for a pay per click campaign when you use some FREE common sense steps to market your business to your clientele.

•XI. Start your marketing campaign. (Business cards, postcards, etc)

If you are struggling to put together the green after paying to incorporate, etc you may not exactly have the ability to market your business with essentials. (Business Cards, Post Cards, Brochures, etc.) All of these can be found for reasonable prices online, I use Vistaprint as the specials they have with 250 free cards, 500 free postcards, etc have filled out my marketing ammo for nothing but shipping. I prefer not to use the Office big box stores as they don’t sell quantities less than 5000 and I took a while to find a professional design that worked for me, you will too, don’t worry about that.

•XII. Build your clientele.

Remember that if you are following this step by step, you are still gainfully employed somewhere. You have to build a clientele slowly, possibly spending your first year as a part time corporate president, until you have enough regular clientele that you can comfortably ease up on your day job. Your clientele are more than just a source of immediate income, they have friends, relatives and neighbors that you don’t have. So on to the next step.

•XIII. Ask your satisfied clientele for referrals.

A satisfied client can gloat on you; just make sure that you deliver the goods when they do. Then, you have two satisfied clients. Ask them to fill out referral forms so you can tap into their market and do the same for them as well.

•XIV. Finally, as soon as the money is rolling in regularly quit your day job.

You didn’t start this business thinking that you want two jobs forever. As soon as you can pay your bills comfortably, and perhaps have somewhat of a surplus in your business account, fire your boss! Use the spare time you have now to promote your business and its’ services with the following tips.

•1. Join a local chamber of commerce. - My membership at the Kissimmee chamber has paid for itself a hundredfold and more. Become an active participant and join a leads group. You will get more clients out of the relationships you make than you will in making a hundred sales pitches.

•2. Join a BNI - like a chamber of commerce, just less formal.

•3. Volunteer time (or services) at the local YMCA; sponsor a team with shirts or equipment.

•4. Spend that extra time you have with family, because as busy as you may get, you want to have the joy of watching your kids grow. And if you don’t have any kids, spend that extra time in making yourself more successful by taking time OUT of business and reinvigorating yourself. Take classes, go to seminars and LEARN!

Conclusion

Success is not a goal for the future. It is a journey, doing something you love doing and getting paid for it. I’ve met many a wealthy person who would trade it all to take that risk they never took and enjoy their lives and work all the more. Good luck all of you.

Make Vocabulary Games a Part of Your Free English Class

Thursday, September 4th, 2008
Ling Tong asked:

Many adults that start learning English do not realize the value of games as part of their learning in a free English class. Young native English speakers regularly play games in school to enhance their learning in all aspects of the language. The same is true for learners of all ages, whether you attend an actual class or take a free course online. When you play a game you are enjoying what you are doing and you are fully engaged in it. You learn without even realizing that you are internalizing certain aspects of the English language, such as in vocabulary games.

In a game that asks you to match a word and a picture, you gain exposure to thousands of vocabulary words from the English language. You learn the names of animals, objects used at home and in school, occupations, weather words and so much more. You can return to the same game time after time to try to match all the words and pictures correctly and to refresh your memory about certain words. If you wish you can keep a notebook by the computer in which you create your own picture dictionary so that you can review these words after you finish playing the game.

Another game that is helpful for those learning English is Hangman. In this game you have to spell a word. You have a limited number of attempts before the stickman falls victim to the hangman’s noose. This type of game teaches you how to spell words correctly so that you won’t spell them the way they sound when you write correspondence or messages in English. There are various categories that you can choose in playing this game as well so that you not only learn to spell correctly, but you increase your vocabulary.

When you take one of the grammar lessons, complete the practice exercises and the quizzes, you can have some fun with grammar games. Such games will also give you a hint of what is to come in future lessons so that you already have an idea of the concept before you start the lesson. You can choose an additional quiz to accompany a lesson that you have already completed just to make sure you do understand what you learned.

A wordsearch is another educational game that will help you increase your vocabulary and knowledge of how words are spelled. Again there is a choice of categories for you to choose from , such as months of the year, animals, occupation, objects used at home and many others.  With such games, every member of your family can take part in the learning to become competent English speakers and writers.

When you choose a free course in English, you have to make sure that the course does have a listening component. You can learn to read and write English from the lessons, but in order to learn how to pronounce the words, you do need to listen to native English speakers. You also have to practice your own speech so that when you do talk to another person in English they will be able to understand you.
