iPod Games - Announcing 24 HR Entertainment

Thursday, May 29th, 2008
Galadriel Anderson asked:

The bad news is that you’re a geek. The good news, however, is that you acknowledge it, accept it and even embrace a little bit. In other related, potentially good news(stories), I am also a geek; so we can probably hang out. But, what else does that mean? It means a couple of things. First off, if you ever have a Maxim in your hands, your reading the technology section, fore sure. Second off, you will be turning right to the “games review” section as soon as you’re finished with the tech stuff. And finally, it means that you combine both of these passions by playing games on your ipod. Embrace it.

What are you playing though? Classics for sure. And a classic game section wouldn’t be complete without “brick.” This well known game, with the forgettable name, is the one where you slide a paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce a ball towards the top to knock out all the bricks, hence the name.

Up next is “parachute,” where you finally get to kill something human, probably you can transfer any anger that you have towards all the people that used to beat you up in school…giving them their just deserves, in the form of a 20 caliber bullet through the head.

The classic ipod games motif keeps on rolling here, except this time the game doesn’t try to hide what it thinks of your social skills, but rather puts everything out in the open with the title, “solitaire.” You know how to play, so I won’t waste your time and add further salt in this wound. Honestly, how many times have you won in your life? Lots, I bet.

Then the ipod games start to mix things up a little bit. Lastly you can try your ear at “Music Quiz,” which weighs in as the only ipod game name that is more lamentable than “brick.” But, the point isn’t to critique the name, its to make sure you’re not just listening to the radio hits, by selecting a song from your library and giving you 5 options to name the tune…hey, that’d be a decent name!

The point is you don’t have to just wait until you get home to your PS2 for the ultimate in hand-eye electronic death battles…do it right now, while you’re waiting for your blind date to how up.

Pre-diabetes: ‘check Engine’ Warning Light

Thursday, May 29th, 2008
Seattle asked:

Your car has an early detection system and so does your body. Take 3 minutes to read this article and learn how you can save yourself a life time of aches, pains, and costly medical bills.

Have you ever had the "Check Engine" warning light come on in your car? Most newer cars have a system that monitors the performance of your car. If something is not working properly, the "Check Engine" light usually comes on.

The good news is that this "pre-warning" system can help you avoid costly damage, which may be occurring with your vehicle, by detecting small problems before they become big problems. However, the only way to be certain is to have your car inspected by an expert mechanic when the "Check Engine" light comes on.

Did you know that your body has a "pre-warning" system?

With many diseases, your body will start producing symptoms such as aches, pains, fatigue, frequent thirst, and so on. These symptoms are your body’s "Check Engine" light, warning you about problems.

However, with diabetes, pre-warning signs don’t always show up so easily. The medical community is calling it: Pre-Diabetes.

Today, roughly 41 million Americans have pre-diabetes which left undetected and untreated, progresses into full-blown diabetes.

The challenge with pre-diabetes is the fact that the condition doesn’t like to reveal itself with noticeable symptoms. Because there are few, if any symptoms, most people will not bother having screening tests performed. With pre-diabetes, noticeable symptoms like frequent thirst and urination may not occur until the disease has progressed and is already causing considerable damage to your body. Most Type 2 diabetics don’t have symptoms because the onset of diabetes is so slow.

Don’t wait for your "Check Engine" light to come on. Have your blood tested. Call your doctor today and make the appointment.

The goal with identifying pre-diabetes is to prevent the onset of diabetes from ever happening.

Your physician can determine if you have pre-diabetes with two common tests. The fasting plasma glucose test (FPG) and the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). Both require an overnight fast.

The good news is that you can greatly improve your odds and likely prevent diabetes with early detection and proper care.

Don’t wait ’til it hurts. Ask your doctor about diabetes and have your blood sugar checked several times a year.

Pagerank Explained

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008
Sortins Technologies asked:

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.”

Important, high-quality sites receive a higher PageRank, which Google remembers each time it conducts a search. Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don’t match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines all aspects of the page’s content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it’s a good match for your que

SEO tips can help you to get higher Yahoo or Google listings, but only if you use them. Most people think that they know better, even so called SEO professionals who have to use PPC advertising to get their websites listed highly enough to be seen. Who are they to tell us what to do, when they cannot it themselves?

I have had some of them write to me criticizing my ‘crap’ HTML and also my ‘useless’ linking strategies. My site has ‘only a Page Rank of 3′. So what? It is sitting at between #1 on #5 on Google from day to day, at # 1 to #4 on Yahoo from day to day and at #1 on MSN. I will gladly accept their criticism of my HTML and linking when they achieve the same. Till then, perhaps they would be better buying my book that complaining about my websites!

I would feel more predisposed to them if they stopped criticizing me - I only started to do the same to them when I got sick of their comments when they could not emulate my results. Who am I, a rank amateur, to beat them in the SEO stakes!! In fact, I have been at this for many years.

So, SEO tip #1 - don’t believe anything you are told unless those telling you it have at least one of their websites in the top 5 on all the major search engines for a competitive keyword. Mine has >800 million other results on Google.

Tip 2 - use classical search engine optimization. Use Meta tags because some search engines still use them. The main one is the Description Meta tag - Keywords is not so important but use it anyway. It does not hurt you, so use them.

The third tip relates to the title of your website. There are two points that relate to this. The first is that it should be the best keyword that you can find that relates to your niche or website. That means a good demand and low supply, though too much is sometimes written about this since such keywords are not easy to find. If you can’t something with low supply, just use what you want and decide to compete against them. Somebody has to be top, and why can’t it be you? Too many people give up in SEO too quickly. Probably because we are told not to compete against the big boys - by these big boys!!

The second point is that the title of your site need not be stated on every web page. My web page titles are those of the page, not the site. The graphics are the same, but the title is the keyword that they page is optimized for. Why do otherwise? Yet 99.99% do (just a guess!). Then fourth of my SEO tips is related to the headings on each page. The main title of the page should be in H1 tags, and the heading in H2 tags. You don’t need any more, but any subheadings can go into H3 tags, but should contain text that could be construed as minor keywords.

I might be wrong, but who says? I have found that if you ignore the big guys, and compete against them, they can be beat. Check out what they are trying to sell you and you will notice that much of it is obsolete. Such as site generation and article generation software. That’s not an SEO tip, just a word to the wise, from the not so wise. I have no pretensions, but I know where my home page is on Google - and Yahoo - and MSN. Just search for ‘article services’.

The fifth SEO tip is to use your keywords sparingly. Most people still think that 1% - 3% keyword density is ideal, yet it is actually too much. There is an optimum keyword density that has little to do with the keyword itself, but more to do with contextual relevance of the page content to the topic in hand. Which leads to the sixth of the SEO tips: write naturally and honestly. If you know about your subject, write about it in your own language and don’t try to meet any perceived need for a specific number of so-called keywords within your page content.

Seventh, don’t forget about your links. You can get a higher search engine listing if you have lots of links back to your website from other sites. In fact, the links are from page to page, and you get a proportion of the Google PageRank of the page linking to you, relative to the number of other links leaving that page, and also give the page that you link to a proportion of your PageRank, calculated in the same way. The problem with reciprocal links is that most pages are linked to and from pages with a PageRank of zero, even though the website home page can have a PR of 6 or 7.

SEO tip eight. Use your internal linking to maximise the PageRank of a selected page on your website. You don’t need every page on your site listed in the top 10 of Google or Yahoo: you only need one. So maximise your efforts on that one page. Visitors that page will then visit the rest of the pages on your website, and so will search engine spiders, so you know that every page on your site will be listed and with a chance of being found in a search.

The important point of that tip is to concentrate on getting one page in the top 10. That’s all you need. You will have links to all your other pages once somebody reaches that page in the top 10. Tip nine: Once you get visitors keep them there. Give them useful content and something to do, even if just to click from page to page. Offer them a free gift for completing a quiz on your topic, or free vacation certificates for certain actions: these are easily found on the internet in a form that you can either post or email for them to print their own. Offer them an opt-in form so that you can keep in touch.

That is the most important tip of all - if you can keep in touch with your visitors after they have left your site, then you can offer them new products as they come along without having to seduce them to visit your website again.

The concept is simple; page rank allows the most important websites to appear at the top of search results. Although you may have seen complicated theories of how page rank works, illustrated by stupendously complicated mathematical formulas, you do not need to be a genius to understand the basic principles. By understanding the basic principles you will then be able to begin working towards achieving a higher page rank for your website, I have achieved a PR 5 for my website and I am no mathematical genius! Basically, Google page rank spans from 0-10. It would be typical for a webpage which has just being indexed by Google to achieve a page rank 0. A webmaster should always be aiming to achieve a higher page rank; this should be an ongoing process. So, how do you go about achieving a higher page rank? Well, a page rank is determined by a web page’s importance, the importance is calculated simply by the number of other web pages which contain a RELEVANT link to the webpage. The logic goes as forth, if many relevant websites contain a link to a web page then the web page must be important. The keyword to remember is RELEVANCY. Google attaches a huge amount of importance to relevancy. There are millions of people who try and achieve a higher Google page rank simply by submitting their website to many, many web directories, this however is really not an effective way of obtaining a high page rank, in many cases the only thing that this will achieve is a reduction in time taken for Google to index your web pages. It may therefore interest you to know that hundreds of links from web directories which link to thousands of other web pages is highly likely to be less beneficial than just one link from another content related website with a high page rank. If you are wanting to obtain a higher page rank in the least possible amount of time your best option is to run a Google search using the keywords for your website. Take note of the top page of results, then, visit the high ranking web pages one by one. Write to the webmasters and ask if you can participate in a link exchange, the answer is likely to be no, however the response to a paid link exchange may be different, and well worth your while. Don’t be afraid of wasting time in this process because even though you may get turned down by many if you are successful with just one highly ranking relevant site, the benefits will be huge and well worth your while in terms of traffic generated. It is also important to realise that Google pays a lot of attention to the title of the link, make sure you include many key words in your link. Personally I have tried in the past just about every method under the sun, (on the web!) in order to try and generate higher page rank. I have attempted buying links from high page rank sites on ebay. However the sites that I chose, despite being PR 6 were not relevant to my website and after 6 months they resulted in no increase to my page ranking. At this point I learnt my lesson about relevancy, in simple terms it goes something like this, ‘If you have a website based on gardening, then there is no point, whatsoever on exchanging links with someone who has a website based on train spotting’. It will get you no where.

If you reap no rewards from talking to webmasters about link exchanges then all is not lost. One of the best methods I use for my website is to write good quality, (I hope) articles, somewhere within the articles I drop reference to my website, in the form of a link, Ad sense Hero! Contains other advice for webmasters Just ‘link’ that. Ha- sorry about the pun. So there you go, write articles and submit them to good quality sites like ezine. Given that your article is good enough to be accepted you will achieve, a relevant link, on a page with relevant content.

There are in fact other factors which affect page rank notably the amount of outbound links from a website. If a highly ranking website has only a handful of links to other pages and one of the links is to your website then the results will be much more beneficial to you than a website that has thousands of outbound links. In effect it seems that Google divides the benefit of the site with page rank between all of the other sites which it links to. This explains why web directories are not beneficial, not only are they irrelevant, they also contain thousands of outbound links. Meaning the page rank benefit is divided between, yeah, you guessed,,, thousands! Time well spent? Nope!

It seems that having new, fresh and original content on your website also increases the frequency at which Google crawls your site, thus making note of new changes. So keep writing and don’t give up. It seems that if you have a site with good regularly updated content, with no tricks necessary, it will at sometime receive traffic; it may just not be as quick as you want and this is why you will probably find yourself following my earlier advice.

Things do get easier, after you have traffic visiting your quality website you will find that your page rank begins to go up on its own. This is because people begin to make links to your website from their freewill in order to make quotes or simply recommend your website to their own visitors. Once the ball is rolling it does get easier. You see?

I hope you enjoyed and benefited from my efforts today! Remember, be patient, things with Google are often slow; rumour has it a Page rank update only occurs every three months,-seems about true in my opinion, and for low page ranking pages apparently a Google bot only crawls, around every three weeks. I don’t have total confidence in the information in this last paragraph; in fact, I don’t think anyone knows for sure. However I do know for sure that my PR 5 website is crawled almost daily by Google’s bot. So just keep on going and be patient! I now make a good income from my site through adsense however it took a long time to get good levels of traffic to make the clicks. Participating in online questionnaires would have been a better answer if I had wanted instant money! Good luck!- For more advice on the page rank issue and for methods of making money on the web, including using Google Adsense visit Adsense Hero! Online money making strategies.

Does Your Restaurant Need Help With Increasing Its Business, Especially in This Economy? A Quiz

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008
Elisabeth Kuhn asked:

Do you own or operate a restaurant? Have you found that the latest economic challenges are affecting your bottom line? Are you worried?

Let’s face it: When times get tough, people tighten their belts and make do with less. They may still go out to eat, but they’ll do so less often, they may choose less expensive dishes and restaurants, and they may get pickier in a lot of ways.

And not only that: there’s also more competition out there, and it’s growing every day. But if you play your cards right, you do have a chance and may well come out ahead.

However, that’s true only IF you act before your competitors do! The market has only room for so many restaurants, and those that are savvy marketers in addition to terrific restaurants are the ones that will survive — and thrive.

Here are a few questions that will give you a good idea where you stand:

1. Are you looking at more and more empty seats lately?

2. Do you get quite a few walk-in customers, but they just don’t come back as often as you’d like - if they come back at all?

3. Do you believe it would benefit your business if your customers were to bring all their friends?

4. Are your Mondays and Tuesdays too slow for your taste?

5. Do you ever have to throw out food on Mondays and/or Tuesdays because it goes bad for lack of customers who might otherwise eat it?

6. Are you losing wait staff because they’re not earning enough in tips? Do you have to retrain new ones over and over again, and just when they get good, they’re gone - again?

7. Would you like more business on slow days, or on ALL days?

8. Would you like to build a relationship with your customers so they’ll become loyal fans of your restaurant?

9. Are you paying too much for your current marketing efforts, especially if they’re not very effective?

10. Would you like to find out how you can leverage the power of the internet and smart copywriting to make more money?

11. Do you realize that just a handful of new customers can more than pay for setting up and running a system that can grow your business exponentially?

12. Do you know you need to use the internet more effectively but you just don’t have the time — or the know-how?

If reading about the internet makes you nervous, because you’re not all that tech savvy, or simply because you don’t have the extra time, don’t worry. You don’t have to do it yourself.

Surely, you have your hands full just running the restaurant, and you probably don’t have enough free time to spend with your family as it is. You can easily let someone who loves internet marketing and knows how it works set it up and run it for you.

Quiz Results:

If you answered YES to even ONE of the above questions, you need to seriously consider leveraging the power of the internet to build your business. Find yourself a web marketing specialist to help.

If you answered YES to more than three questions, you absolutely must take action right away - before your competitors do.

Career Personality Tests

Monday, May 19th, 2008
Tony Jacowski asked:

Since most people spend a majority of their life on the job, choosing a career that you actually enjoy is very important for a happy and fulfilling lifestyle. Choosing a career that does not suit your personality can lead to confusion, unhappiness and boredom. People seek to find a career that best suits their natural traits and talents. When your work lets you realize your true potential and utilize your talents to the fullest, only then can you be satisfied with your career.

Personality Tests

Large corporate companies and business houses around the world hire employees by conducting personality tests as it measures skills, abilities, values and interests. These tests determine one’s aptitude for a certain type of career and even mention the right job that suits an individual’s personality. They determine the personality type; whether you are outgoing or reserved, realistic or imaginative, logical or sensitive, organized or spontaneous.

Personality Tests Help:

-Match individuals to career interests

-Improve employee communication

-Increase team effectiveness and productivity

-Reduce workplace conflict

-People understand themselves and others

How A Personality Test Works

An informal series of questions is prepared and a team of experts analyzes the test results. They examine different personality aspects to form a personality profile. This profile is then discussed within a group, comprising of a panel of psychology graduates and career advisors. The best career choice is made according to the personality type and a detailed report is declared in front of the candidate.

There are a variety of tests that measure your intelligence and skills and assess your ability to succeed in a career. Some are more complex as compared to others. Some might be free of cost or may charge a nominal fee. The tests range from a five-minute color test to an hour-long complete personality test.

1)Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI): This is the most important tool that helps to assess a personality type and explore career options. A certain amount of fee is charged for conducting the test. It is fast, secure and confidential.

2)Career Key: This is a free online assessment tool that helps people make the best career choice.

3)Keirsey Temperament Sorter: This tool helps discover what type of temperament you possess and tells if you are an Artisan, Guardian, Rational or Idealist. They also charge a small fee for conducting the test.

4)Princeton Review Career Quiz: A series of questions are answered and accordingly, the best career choice is determined. They estimate your personal interests and usual styles. Registration is necessary for getting the results.

5)Strong Interest Inventory: This tool helps to match your interest with a professional career.

The results of these tests give a fair indication of an individual’s personality and should not be relied on as absolute. The examiners analyze the personality profile based on the answers. Taking a few personality tests can acquaint you with new career options that might not have been considered before.

These instruments help evaluate your personality type and explore new career options. A proper match between your job and your personality plays a major role in ensuring job satisfaction. Personality tests will direct you to a profession that will best compliment your personality.

Find Free Online Dating Services

Saturday, May 10th, 2008
Kristi Ambrose asked:

There are many different ways to find new people online for dating reasons. Using a dating service is more popular now a days than it has been in the past one of the main reasons for this is simply because people are too busy with work, life, and other things to be bothered with going out and finding a date. And, besides going online and finding someone to date or finding someone that you’re interested in. It’s really easy with these dating services. All you have to do is find a few sites like true, eHarmony, Dates, or PlentyOfFish, and search for the many different options the site may allow such as age, race, sex, hobbies, or location.

Some of these sites are free, other sites charge a membership fee. For the sites that can charge a membership fee, which is usually with good reason because they allow you different options that a free member doesn’t get such as private messaging, webcam interaction, or e-mails between members.

Some of these dating services have other activities as well such as quiz is, games, classified sections, chat rooms, web groups. They say, if you join these sites the best thing you can do is be honest and have a picture available of yourself for other people to look at.

Supposedly, if you have a picture of yourself, there’s a greater chance of people contacting you if they know what you look like. Now this may sound a little cocky or shallow but just think about when you’re on these services, do you search for people that have pictures are no pictures. I don’t know about you, but I only search for people with pictures. We all know that there are things that we want in a mate but looks are important as well in my opinion.

Here are a few more examples sites that you can take a look at if you’re searching for somebody to date online or offline:

American Singles

Okay Cupid

Match

Chemistry

Free singles and personals:

They Hookup

Free Personal Ads

Date

Soul Mate Find

There are also other personal options available, such as Craigslist and your local newspaper. As on all dating sites, please follow all the rules and read the FAQs section. The FAQs section along with the rules are made for a reason; to keep you safe. If the site suggest you do not give your e-mail address out, phone number, address then don’t do it. Not that I would do it if I were you anyway, just to be safe.

I know a lot of people think that it’s almost impossible to find a soul mate online but there have been several millions of testimonials of people finding love online. Plus it’s pretty great that you get to go to people’s profiles. Find out a little bit about them see their picture and decide if you would like to take more time to know them. For example, a deal breaker for me is a person who doesn’t like kids or doesn’t want kids. So, if I’m searching online for a person, and it says that they don’t like kids or don’t want kids I know I can pretty much skip over that person and not even waste my time!

I wish you luck in your search to find your soul mate or whatever else your looking for!

How to Create Quality Content to Attract Targeted Traffic to Your Website

Saturday, May 10th, 2008
Bob Withers asked:

Content is generally designed to produce traffic, to bring people to your website to buy your products or services. Content should be created with the intended audience in mind.

It is the expression and communication of information and is the real thing, which visitors will spot immediately when they first visit your website. Content is only as strong as it’s appeal to your visitors and is usually given away in order to attract people to goods and services they are willing to pay for.

This leads us to the question: What are the best types of content to attract people to your products and services?

Articles have long been regarded as one of the best internet marketing strategies in use today. People like to read well written articles about a subject they are naturally interested in.

Your articles should be tailored to attract your target audience and also formed around the product or service you are promoting. Your article also needs to be keyword rich so as to attract the various search engines and gain a ranking near the top of their list.

Downloads or free downloads are also an attraction to surfers online. Anything that can make someone’s life a little easier, for example a free website building tool or HTML editor, is very popular. People like tools and tools which can save them time are a bonus.

People also like to be entertained and this is where multimedia can play a large role in attracting potential customers to your site. An audio message welcoming your guests sprinkled with a little humor can add to your quality content.

Movie trailers, comedy clips and music are also nice additions to any website. Again you select your content with your target audience in mind.

Interactive multimedia is also a big attraction online. For example, you could have a daily quiz or a weekly survey where you incorporate some type of prize for the person with the highest score. Again you could construct the questions around what you’re promoting or the type of visitor you want to attract.

Sports are always a big draw, especially if you’re going after a male oriented audience for your product or service. You could incorporate a sports update feed from one of the free content providers which displays up to the minute scores and highlights of different events in the sporting world.

Along the same lines of video you could create your own recording which incorporates the product or service you are selling in a way which stands out or is out of the norm.

Instructional videos are also popular. Teach your users how to do something. If you’re targeting Internet Marketers for example, an article or instructional video on how to generate traffic to your website or how to write killer classified ads would be a good draw.

When it comes to quality content the ideas are endless and are only limited by your imagination. But always remember to keep your target audience in mind and you’ll get the targeted traffic you need to succeed online.

Beneficial Bacteria

Friday, May 9th, 2008
Nandeshori Devi Konthoujam asked:

A bacterium is the unicellular prokaryotes whose cells are devoid of the nucleus. The bacterial structure of the cellular organization is simpler than multicellular organisms and mitochondria and chloroplast like organelles are absent. There are different bacteria on the basis of their colony morphology and different cells they composed. Because of the ability of rapid growing and the virtual ease, the bacteria are remarkably widespread in different environmental conditions. In almost all living organisms bacteria with different structures and types are found.

The number of nontoxic and useful bacteria is far greater than those harmful varieties. As bacteria can produce several beneficial enzymes essential for the strengthening and breaking of organic complexes, bacteria are extensively employed by humans for purposes like soil enrichment, conservation by pickling, fermentation, breakdown of organic ravage etc. bacteria is extensively beneficial for enriching the soil fertility and thus farmers grow leguminous crops in the field where nitrogen fixing bacteria lives.

Even though 78% nitrogen is present in the earth’s atmosphere, free nitrogen cannot be made use by higher plants or animals which depend on nitrogen fixed in the soil in the form of ammonia or nitrates by combining with hydrogen or oxygen. The capability of fixing atmospheric nitrogen to the soil is in some bacteria especially of genus Rhizobium. These nitrogen fixing bacteria are therefore regarded as the main beneficial bacteria and nitrogen fixing beneficial bacteria is categorized as free living and those live in the enclosed nodules of the soil.

Clostridium, Azotobacter, are free-living species of beneficial bacteria and plays an immense role in the agriculture as they are capable of utilizing the energy from putrefying organic substance in soil to energy soil progression, together with nitrogen fixation and some beneficial bacteria live in the root nodules of the leguminous plants like beans, alfalfa, peas, soybeans, clover, and peanuts includes the bacteria of genus Rhizobium.

The nitrogen fixing bacteria develops bacteroids in the root nodules which are the symbionts or mutually beneficial of green plant. The bacteroids obtain carbohydrates or energy from plant for fixing nitrogen and amalgamate amino acids. The plants in turn take those amino acids convoluted in the plant tissue nodule. Animals sequentially consume plants and change the plant protein to animal protein. Rhizobium may also be found in the free living state in soil but they are neither able to fix nitrogen in this form nor the roots of the leguminous plants fix nitrogen devoid of Rhizobium.

To study the beneficial bacteria it is require having detail knowledge on the structure and function of the bacteria as a whole. The bacteria structure also consist flagella, pili and fimbriae like extra cellular structures which mean for movement, conjugation and attachment respectively. Some bacteria do possess slime layers or capsules which too assist bacterial attachment to the surfaces and in the formation of biofilm. Bacteria structure contain comparatively few intracellular organizations contrast to eukaryotes but do restrain a firmly super coiled ribosome, chromosome, and several additional species-specific structures including nutrient storage, gas vesicles intracellular membranes, and magnetosomes.

Thus soil bacteria are the friends of the farmers. In addition to the its importance in the fixation of the atmospheric nitrogen in the soil and supporting important food chain rather necessary in maintaining a stable equilibrium in the ecosystem the bacteria are considered to have multidimensional benefits. Bacteria also possess an important position in the functioning of the several animals and in the research and studies in the biological and medical sciences.

Summary 578

The number of nontoxic and useful bacteria is far greater than those harmful varieties. As bacteria can produce several beneficial enzymes essential for the strengthening and breaking of organic complexes, bacteria are extensively employed by humans for purposes like soil enrichment, conservation by pickling, fermentation, breakdown of organic ravage etc. bacteria is extensively beneficial for enriching the soil fertility and thus farmers grow leguminous crops in the field where nitrogen fixing bacteria lives.

Can We Fat-proof the Human Body

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008
Christine Sutherland asked:

Most people who are overweight yearn to be able to forget about diets and weight problems, and just enjoy having an effortlessly slim and healthy body. After all, if some people find it so easy to maintain a healthy weight level, or even find it difficult to put weight on, why should life be so tough for fatties?

Sufferers of overweight have had their hopes raised by a varied array of pharmaceutical and surgical options, but that hope has been short-lived, and even crushed, by the enormity of the cost, the disappointing results, and the frightening side effects.

But now the secret to an effortlessly slim and healthy body may be a lot quicker and easier than ever hoped possible, thanks to a combination of understanding the way naturally slim people think, and the availability of new techniques that rapidly alter people’s actual tastes and preferences.

This new approach to weight loss is entirely natural, has no side effects, is so inexpensive that it’s easily accessible to everyone, and is permanent. This means that for most people a once-only treatment program is all that is necessary to “fat-proof” our bodies.

The first step in the program is to commit to never dieting again. Health scientists tell us that dieting is responsible for an overall gain in weight averaging 6 lbs per annum per dieter. So by simply avoiding dieting or eating plans, the overweight person can immediately begin to make a difference.

Next in line is a rapid-fire technique which actually switches off food cravings and completely frees people from addiction and compulsion in relation to food. When this is combined with equally-rapid treatment for emotional eating and habitual eating, the pounds begin to decrease quite quickly, without effort on the part of the client.

The program includes sensible health education, including giving attention to lifestyle errors that lead not only to overweight and other physical health problems, but which can also result in serious mental illness. This is an individually-focussed, holistic and comprehensive approach to weight loss.

Those interested in reading more about the mind-set of naturally slim people may like to download the free report “7 Secrets of Effortlessly Slim, Toned People” (look out for the “Skinny Secrets” quiz!), which spells out the specific differences in perception and attitude that are second nature to slim people.
